OFFER UP | Hebrews 11:17 | Malachi 3:10
What does it mean to truly offer up to God? Hebrews 11:17 shows us Abraham’s faith being tested when God asked him to offer Isaac—the very promise he had been waiting for. Abraham had to trust God enough to place what was precious to him on the altar.
In the same way, God may speak to our hearts and ask us to sow, give, or release something into His hands. Sometimes the Holy Spirit will prompt you to sow into someone, a ministry, or a specific need. The question is not always, “Does this make sense to me?” but “Am I willing to obey what God is speaking to me?”
Malachi 3:10 reminds us of God’s heart concerning giving and trusting Him with our resources. Sowing is an act of faith, obedience, and worship. When the Holy Spirit prompts you to give, we should learn to recognize His voice and respond with a willing heart.
This message challenges us to move beyond simply asking God to bless what is in our hands and to become people who are willing to offer up what God asks of us. What God places in your hands may be something He is asking you to place back in His hands.
When God speaks, will you hold on—or will you offer it up?
