2 Kings 3
Let Your Faith Be Firm

When faced with an impossible situation, where do you place your trust? In 2 Kings 3, three kings found themselves trapped in the wilderness without water, certain that defeat was near. Yet God stepped in—not because they were perfect, but because His mercy is great. Through the prophet Elisha, the Lord gave them an unusual instruction: dig ditches in a dry valley and prepare for rain they wouldn’t see or hear. Their obedience made room for God’s miracle. This message reminds us that firm faith is not based on what we see, but on who God is. Even when the valley looks empty and hope feels distant, God is still working behind the scenes. When we choose obedience, trust His word, and make preparation for His promises, He fills the dry places of our lives with His provision and victory. Let this sermon encourage you to stand firm, trust God in the waiting, and believe that He can bring abundance out of emptiness.
